Dear Sirs/Madams,

Mandatory Copy of NAPTAN Constitution

The National Executive Council (NEC) under the leadership of Professor Boniface Odeh has resolved to reform the Association and work in line with the 21st century means of doing things.

By so doing, the NEC in Council craves a paradigm shift from years of lukewarmness and underperformance to reposition the Association across boards; hence the governing Constitution must be strictly adhered to in order to give the Association a new lease of life.

The Constitution is a guiding rule specifying the right principles the office holders are to abide by, to avoid any rancour, misdemeanors, and unpatriotic tendencies that may drag the good name of the Association into the mud.

As an organized parents’ body, we are to lead by example with a legacy good to emulate.

Henceforth, the NAPTAN National Constitution is MANDATORY for ALL schools across the country to have one copy each.

In addition, State Executive Officers are advised to have a copy each to enable them be abreast of the responsibilities attached to their offices and act accordingly without overstepping their boundaries.

To reposition and revamp the Association, we believe this is a collective responsibility and to get it right, we must toe the right path to have an Association we can all be proud of.
